IT Engineer

This multifaceted role at ServiceByte involves designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructure solutions for our small to medium-sized business clients in the Westchester County area. In this role, you will provide comprehensive expertise in network, systems, and architecture design, deployment, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing expertise and recommendations for infrastructure projects.
• Create and implement IT infrastructure solutions encompassing network, systems, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Configure and optimize network components, servers, and virtualization platforms to ensure performance and stability.
• Develop and integrate IT solutions aligning with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Implement security controls and procedures to protect client infrastructure and data.
• Monitor infrastructure performance metrics and optimize resources for enhanced system performance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and management in an MSP environment is required.
• Proficiency in networking technologies (Fortinet, Ubiquiti), server platforms (Windows, HyperV), cloud services (Azure), and security technologies.
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python) and familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet) are a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

HR Information: 
$76,000 salary + annual bonuses (end of year, varies)
Hybrid work setup:
