We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our office infrastructure, networks, and employee devices. You'll also be able to branch out into site reliability, such as administering access to production cloud services. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day support and will play a key role in daily office life and operations.
You’ll be:
- Assisting other employees with day-to-day computer issues
- Managing our New York office network infrastructure
- Managing our New York on-premises server rack
- Establishing and enforcing technology best practices for employees in order to ensure company/personnel safety
- Triage and potentially repair broken employee hardware
- Handle ordering of new hardware/equipment for employees
- As well as helping decide what specifications of hardware new and current employees should have
- Manage our Audio/Video equipment for room and all-hands conferencing
- Ensure compliance requirements of employee and company hardware/software are being met through automated platforms like JAMF, Drata, as well as manual checks.
- Administer access to services such as google, zoom, slack, github, etc. This includes automation of granting/rescinding access for new/departing employees.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Windows, Linux, and macOS power-user and administration experience
- Office networking experience for a small-to-midsize business
- Experience administering Google Workspace
- Experience administering Zoom
- Strong interpersonal skills and a can do attitude

The starting salary for this role is between $110K-165K/year. Your exact offer will vary based on a number of factors including experience level, skillset, market location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced, or more senior, than this job description as posted. In these situations, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.
