Overview : MissionWired is seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of raising funds and building audiences for impactful campaigns and causes. In our fast-paced environment connectivity and efficiency are crucial. As an IT Engineer you will ensure our team operates smoothly and securely. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to improve our systems. You will support technology implementations troubleshoot issues and help maintain our IT infrastructure. At the core you’ll enhance our operational efficiency security and overall effectiveness. This role reports to the Vice President of Information Technology.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring secure and efficient deployment of endpoints and applications;

• Implementing and configuring new software and hardware solutions to improve operational efficiency;

• Managing data migrations across different platforms and applications;

• Planning and executing IT infrastructure projects including system migrations integration of redundant systems and provisioning of physical office space;

• Serving as an advanced help desk resource troubleshooting complex issues with user endpoints and applications; and

• Implementing advanced security controls across IT infrastructure staff endpoints and user accounts.

Must-have qualifications:

• Strong communication skills: ability to explain complex actions with simple steps;

• Ability to exercise patience;

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues across teams with varying levels of technical knowledge;

• Experience integrating acquired companies into a parent platform company is a significant plus;

• Experience with nonprofit organizations and political campaigns is a plus;

• Experience configuring and administering key IT platforms including:

• HRIS platforms like Rippling

• Identity providers and application deployment tools like Google Microsoft Rippling or Okta

• Productivity platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365

• Endpoint deployment tools like Apple Business Manager

• Mobile Device Management like Rippling or Intune

• Help desk ticketing and automation systems like Jira

Certifications:

• Certifications in Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra are a plus but not required.

Salary range for this role is $80000 to $95000 per year depending on experience.

This position is included in a union-represented collective bargaining unit and specific employment terms and conditions are subject to collective bargaining.

Location

We are currently working remotely with no return to office date. Applicants may reside in the following states: AZ CA CO CT DC FL GA IL IN LA MA MD MN MO NC NH NJ NM NY OR PA SC TX VA WA and WI. Due to FL legislation MissionWired is required to participate in e-verify .
