IT Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and securing our macOS endpoints, providing escalated support to our IT operations team, and implementing various endpoint security measures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in macOS endpoint management, Jamf administration, bash and python scripting.
What you'll do at Figma:

• Manage and maintain our macOS endpoint infrastructure and ensure optimal performance and security
• Develop and implement endpoint security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems
• Deploy software and updates to macOS endpoints using Jamf Pro
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to macOS endpoints
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using bash and Python
• Implement device trust and zero trust security models to enhance endpoint security
• Work with the Security team to monitor and detect security threats on macOS endpoints
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve macOS-related issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure macOS endpoints align with company policies and standards
• Maintain and document endpoint configurations, policies, and procedures
• Keep current on Apple's product developments, capabilities, and bugs, as well as, familiarity with the competitive landscape of tooling for macOS management
• Deploy and configure systems via code, using tools such as Git, Terraform, YAML, or similar.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in macOS endpoint management
• Extensive experience with Jamf administration
• Strong proficiency in bash scripting and Python programming
• Experience with Okta or similar identity management systems
• Knowledge of device trust and zero trust security models
• Experience with macOS security features and tools
• Comfortable working and deploying via code (Git, Terraform, Yaml, etc)
• Experience with Kandji is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
