IT Engineer

POSITION PURPOSE:
This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, IT. This person will administer KCE’s IT systems, including hardware and software. This position will handle most help desk tickets and help where necessary to meet the company's needs.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and install computer hardware configurations
• Respond to all help desk requests
• Onboard and Offboard all users
• Keep inventory of all KCE IT assets
• Troubleshoot IT issues
• Assist with security and networking as needed
• All other duties as required

WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.
• Good communication skills
• Basic LAN and wireless network knowledge
• Knowledge in Azure, ADUC, Windows, Service Desk System, iOS, and MacOS
• Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues
• Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, O365)
• Ability to work in a small team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of working at a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to climb or balance
• Must be able to stop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Must have the ability to identify and distinguish colors
