IT Enterprise Applications Engineer, Salesforce

An overview of this role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Enterprise Applications Engineer with a specialization in Salesforce development to work with a collaborative globally distributed team. The IT Enterprise Applications Engineering job family is responsible for the implementation and operational ownership of all Enterprise Applications. We are looking for candidates based in India or the Philippines working in local hours.

What You’ll Do

• Lead or participate in the design development of functionalities in Salesforce org.

• Provide technical insights and recommendations to ensure that Salesforce application is scalable maintainable and aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.

• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and system outages.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of application architectures configurations and processes.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams influencing decisions related to integration with other systems data management and overall system architecture.

• Act in alignment with GitLab communication framework.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Salesforce platform as a Salesforce developer.

• Strong coding skills in Apex JavaScript Salesforce integration Salesforce/ Zuora CPQ.

• Proven experience in release management using change sets CI/CD.

• Proven experience troubleshooting and identifying root cause of system failures.

• Experience building solutions in sync with third party tools (Zuora CPQ Sales tools).

• Experience in writing/maintaining high quality code participating in code review and contributing to making the system stable.

• Certifications such as Platform Developer 1 or JavaScript Developer 1 are desirable.

• Public company and SOX ITGC control experience is preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization.
