Job Description

The ERP Project Manager organizes and coordinates the ERP Implementation and provides strategic guidance to the established project team. This person is responsible for creating the business case for the project, assuming accountability for the project completion, and ensuring successful transition from implementation to operation of the ERP system including training and change management.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient implementation strategies and tactics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Infor LN project manager will be responsible for designinga comprehensive strategy for achieving successful completion of the project.
  • End to Endmanagement, System delivery of new LN CS Solutionand co-ordination of the project and responsible for the successful completion of the project.
  • Arrange all the facilities to the team who are working on the project, provide training,support,and extract the best out of the team.
  • Ability to solve complex problems which arise in the project and responsible for the outcome and finish the project with great quality and on time.
  • Define overall project plan and set timelines for the team and delegate specific task(s) to each member of the project.
  • Responsible for the timely completion of the project within the stipulated budget.
  • Predict, communicate, and eliminate risk factors encountered throughout the project.
  • Reporting on project status and progress.
  • Develops, plans, and implements various stages of the LN Cloud Suite Project and other ERP enhancement Projects
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress for the ERP Projects
  • Uses clear goals to communicate the project vision to project stakeholders.
  • Work with IT ERP and business teams to ensure requirements are effectively communicated between business units and key stakeholders.
  • Communicates status outside the team, particularly with senior management, external parties such as consultants, and auditors.
  • Review progress and functional delivery on a regular committed basis.
  • Participates in project planning and reviews and communicates timeline and budget status to IT management.
  • Takes accountability for the project in terms of successful business value outcome.
  • Actively defends and supports the overall scope of the project.
  • Works to resolve issues escalated from the project team.
  • Is accessible during regular business hours and participates proactively and constantly in the team activities.
  • Is visible, vocal, and objective.
  • Coaches, champions, and mentors the project team.
  • Challenges the project team to ensure that business requirements have been completely understood and interpreted.
  • Provides encouragement, recognition, and support to the team.
  • Evaluates and recommends changes to current and future ERP system requirements to meet organizational needs.
  • Leads the implementation of new organizational processes aligned with ERP configuration.
  • Matrix managing SMEs, 3rd party Functional/Technical Consultants (US, & Offshore), Solution Architects, Data Analysts
  • Requirements gathering, Data migration, Testing, Training, Cutover, Go-Live, Service Transition, DR/Business Continuity, 3rd party integrations/EDI.
  • Project Controls & Governance
  • Initial focus was working collaboratively with Infor CS and/or authorized 3rd Party vendor to build the Statement of Work, build the Infor Project team
  • Working in parallel with the initiation phase, took the lead with a number of business process re-engineering work packages


Education/Certifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or Computer Science or business-related field preferred (Equivalent work experience considered)
  • 10 years' experience in project management roles as an individual contributor
  • 2 to 3 years direct supervisory experience


Required Skills:

  • Infor LN Implementation and/or data conversion experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or other managerial position.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
  • Knowledge of ERP LN 10.7 Manufacturing, Planning, Projects, Operations, Sales, and Finance
  • Knowledge of LN Cloud Suite, Infor Factory Track will be an advantage
  • Understanding end-to-end Business Process between all department
  • Identifies systems, processes, challenges, and suggests areas of improvement and presents Business Benefit Analysis.
  • Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications
  • Experience in supporting Large ERP Environment & Adherence to SLA
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project) is a strong advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise decision-making processes.
