About the Role:
AlphaSense is a high growth technology company and we are looking for an ambitious and dedicated IT Help Desk representative to join our growing Corporate IT team in our New York City office. The primary goal of this position is to ensure that every AlphaSense employee has the technology (both hardware & software) they need to be successful. Our IT Help Desk team is crucial in maintaining productivity and efficiency across the business by keeping our systems running properly at all times. What You’ll Do:
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests from employees, both in person and remotely.Â
- Assist with setting up all new hires with the right hardware and software during new hire onboarding.Â
- Record issues and their resolution in our Zendesk ticketing system.
- Escalate any unresolved issues to the next level of IT support personnel.Â
- Follow Help Desk procedures and maintain the IT systems documentation.
- Change configurations, settings, and permissions to fix computer issues.Â
- Be on the lookout for potential IT problems that can be prevented.Â
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience in a Corporate IT support / Help Desk roleÂ
- Passionate about technology and familiar with our tools (G-Suite, Slack, Okta, Zoom, etc.)Â
- Highly competent in troubleshooting issues for Windows/PC, Android, iOS and Apple hardware
- Experience using Zendesk or a similar ticketing system
- Experience with G Suite (Gmail, Google Drive and Docs, etc)
- You enjoy helping others and thrive in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Positive attitude and customer-service orientedÂ
- Willing to work in the NYC Office (in Union Square) five days a week

Base Compensation Range*: $65,000-$80,000

Additional Components:Â You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
