IT Helpdesk Technician

The IT Helpdesk Technician will support end-users with ticket requests, assist with ongoing projects as well as implementation of process documentation.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers; Assist in resolving computer hardware and software issues.
- Manage ticket Queue through JIRA and resolve or escalate tickets to Tier II/Tier III support as needed
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, phones, security updates, support internet.
- Administer and support core Microsoft, Intune, and virtual technologies.
- Define and document best practices and support procedures.
- Provide limited after-hours and weekend operations support for emergencies
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
- Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.
- Support mobile devices (iPhone).
- Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop Operating Systems
- Microsoft A+, Net+ or similar certification
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
- Must be a team player
- Associates degree in computer science (or related area) preferred
- Experience in JIRA Service Management
- Active Directory/SAML user and group administration
- Experience with and understanding of Intune
