IT Implementation Manager
Job Description
This position will be responsible for the implementation planning and execution for various business units and functionality during transformational activities. They will utilize their domain experience, insight, and understanding of direction from the product organization to help formulate the overall implementation approach. They will help be a conduit between program management, product, customer success, and various execution teams to help insure oversight of implementation activities, escalation of issues and resource needs, and collaboration with other teams.

Responsibilities:
- Defines the components and resources that they will need to complete the project.
- Facilitates and/or does the work that needs to be completed, according to the timeline.
- Update key leadership on the progress on the implementation, hurdles, and next steps.
- Work collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders from project inception through the go-live implementation; discovery activities, gap-analysis, statement of work, client support & app training
- Utilize industry experience to guide stakeholders through implementation critical activities, tasks, processes, and solutions
- Establish project governance and communication channels
- Lead project discussions and utilize best-practices to solve common industry challenges
- Work with product to document customer process flows, identify system gaps, and work with internal stakeholders to prioritize customer commitments and needs
- Responsible for building plan, that will manage day-to-day tasks and all deadline
- Create a detailed worksheet or workflows, integration points and all-important activities required for implementation
- Build out a timeline, and create status updates against plan, and offer insight and suggestions to overcome roadblocks
- Plan cut over and go live activities to ensure a smooth transition from one system to the next.
- Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders as needed
- Drive customer acceptance testing and overall solution acceptance activities
- Troubleshoot software issues and collaborate with software development for remediation
- Create and foster external client relationships while driving deadlines and action item completion- consultative, teamwork approach
- Identify and communicate critical implementation milestones and underlying activities required to achieve them
- Work closely with the Client Engagement Lead and ensure collectively they are both managing customer expectations and relationships through formal and informal communication
- Drive the resolution of issues through problem solving, identification of necessary resources, and escalation
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to learn all facets of the transportation industry
- Strong detail orientation, organization, and time management abilities
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time during implementation
- Industry experience a plus
- Enterprise software implementation experience
- Business Analysis, Project Management and/or Product Management experience a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize, coordinate and delegate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Skill in planning and time management.
- Aptitude for learning high-level technology terms and processes.
- Ability to understand account profitability.
- Ability to lead teams and/or step into a supervisory role as required for a project
- Project management certifications a plus
