The IT Infrastructure Administrator at phData will be expected to:
- Work in multiple shifts, weekend on-call rotation and provide support to end users.
- Work on all kinds of IT related projects, tasks and support requests.
- Involve actively in teams of cross functional projects to assist solve problems inclusive of different technologies straddling multiple work groups.
- Handle organization-wide SaaS based application projects of complex to ensure applications optimal performance and related infrastructure.
- Execute technology changes successfully by minimal downtime as well as disruption.
- Write infrastructure related scripts to automate all manual tasks plus streamline operational activities and start the IT innovation campaign.
- Working as a Tech specialist and being a technical mentor to the team.
- L1 technical support for all internal IT tasks, projects and infrastructure issues.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience and excellent troubleshooting skills on all operating systems, Laptop & Desktop hardware and other IT devices.
- Extensive experience in Servers, Virtualization, Storage and backup solutions.
- Extensive experience in Network (Routing, Switching, Wireless and Security) infrastructure setup and maintenance.
- Extensive customer support experience with being a good team player.
- Understanding of ITIL and experience with ITSM tools built with ITIL framework.
- Experience in configuring and managing different SIEM and Network monitoring tools.
- Advance knowledge and experience in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in MacOS installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- A total of 6+ years of experience with at least 2 years as an IT Infrastructure Admin.
- Should be fine to work in a 24/7 environment with rotating shifts including night shifts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Local to Bengaluru, KA only.
