Job Overview

What do our IT Interns do? IT internships at Komatsu offer students the opportunity to work in one or more of our functional IT areas:

• Application development (VB.net, C#, SQL, Sterling, SharePoint, PowerApps, Flow, React, Appian (or other low-code platforms), RPA technologies, AI Tools)
• Business Analyst/IT Project Management

As an intern you will work with a mentor to apply your education in a real-world setting; participate in and/or lead projects for your function area and support business leaders and team members in achieving department goals and initiatives that impact our business.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Active junior or senior level student pursing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, MIS, IT, or a related field
• Previous work or classroom experience in one or more of the following areas: Office 365, SharePoint, SQL, C#,ASP.NET, VB.NET, Microsoft Visual Studio.NET, IT project management and/or business analysis
• Ability to work independently as well as part of team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues when they arise
• A passion for technology and a drive to succeed

Additional Information

• The IT Internship program is a year-round program. We offer flexible, part-time hours (~15-20 hours per week) during the school semester and full-time hours (~30-40 hours per week) during school breaks and summer.
• This position is located onsite at our newly-built headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. Onsite amenities include a coffee shop, cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch, and a 24 hour fitness center!
