IT Intern - Application Development

*NOTE* - This position will be located onsite at Gavilon's Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, NE.

Job Summary:

IT Intern candidates may either serve on the Application Development or Data Solutions teams depending upon skill set, current demands, and career path. Additionally, individuals may specialize within these teams focusing on specific technologies.

Job Functions:

• Familiarity with HTML5, Angular, C#, JavaScript, Typescript, and SQL
• REST API experience
• Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy technology solutions to satisfy identified needs
• Capability to ensure solutions are aligned with our technology roadmap and standards
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

• Pursuit of a college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong customer service ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment
• Substantial analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sense of ownership, driving resolution of issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

Special Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time
• Position requires operation of a computer and other standard office equipment, such as a copy machine, , computer printer and phone up to 90% of the time
• Frequently communicates with employees in the office and at remote locations
