Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is seeking an intern forIT Intern-Identity Securityto drive the business byprovidingoperationalprocessing andanalysisrelated to access provisioning;account lifecycle management;knowledge management;process mapping and technical writing; system enhancement opportunities.

This exciting internship opportunity will provide exposure to an IT team for a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business student interested in getting practical experience with analysis, workflows, documentation, and implementation.This position will combineanunderstanding of IT fundamentals, and account and access managementwith a strongfocustowards customer service, organizational skills, documentation, and analysis. This opportunity will provide exposureto hands-on supportwith customers,business processes in the healthcare and finance industry,and tasksassigned to help the Identity Access Management teammeet company goalsindrivingefficiencies for theenterprise.

This Internship will start in October 2022.

What you do

• Support the development and continuous improvement of operational processes in our Identity System.
• Use analytical skills to evaluate and process access requests and fulfilment in the Identity System.
• Assess and improve processes and tools that support systems requests and reporting and workflow intake.
• Utilize existing IT Identity Access Management knowledge library to process workflows and trouble tickets, with opportunity to improve or update documents or create new documents where needed.
• This role will encourage the selected person to move outside of their comfort zone and interact with associates from all areas ofthe Information Technology division as theyassistin the processing of the Identity and Access Management request queue, fulfilling access requests,andinvestigatingand resolvingissues related to accesswithin Ameritas systems.

What you bring

• Must be enrolled in a college level degree program (associate or bachelor level will both be considered).
• Computer Science, Information Technology and similar majors will be preferred, but business majors will be considered.
• Able to commit to a full year of work - part-time during the academic school year and full-time during the summer
  
  • PT includes 10-20 hours a week
  • FT includes 30-40 hours a week
• Success in this role will require a self-starter who canidentifyopportunitiesor areas for improvement,andto drive efficiencies to a successful completion with minimal guidance from others.
• Professional and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsrequired.
