IT Lead

Thanks for your interest in Oklo!  We are searching for an Information Technology (IT) Lead to join our team. We are looking to fill this position immediately!

Position Description:

This IT Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategy roadmap to support company operations. The IT Lead will oversee a team to ensure our IT growth strategy supports the company objectives, especially engineering needs. The IT Lead will be responsible for:

• Developing scalable and robust IT infrastructure to support the growing needs of the team
• Developing, implementing, and documenting the company's cybersecurity strategy
• Planning and implementing disaster recovery procedures

Specific responsibilities may include:

• Managing information technology and computer systems
• Managing and training individuals on company IT policy and best practices documentation
• Conducting routine evaluations and audits of network and data security
• Identifying and implementing improvements to company software and systems
• Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages
• Ensuring that CVEs are resolved promptly
• Overseeing internal and/or external IT personnel

Experience Level

Intermediate (3-5 yrs) or Experienced (5+ yrs)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in IT, computer science, or similar field
• Proven working experience as an IT Lead, IT Manager, or relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
• Experience with: Docker, Linux, Windows, and Virtualization/VMware

Bonus Qualifications:

• Expertise in data center management and data governance
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with any of the following tools: Git, JumpCloud, Ansible/Puppet/Chef, Markdown/AsciiDoc
• Hands-on experience in performing computer builds and upgrades
• Experience administering a mixed fleet of Linux, Windows, and macOS
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+ certification, or other similar certifications

About Oklo compensation:

Salary: $90,000-$150,000

Salary may fall outside of the range provided and will be dependent on applicant experience.
