What you will do:

The IT Lead Analyst Lead provides leadership, guidance, and support with Stryker's Information Security team regarding endpoint/toolset maintenance and patching. This position will maintain the integrity of the toolsets and features that protect our environment, along with training and documentation of existing platforms.

Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)

This position will plan remediation work discovered by the CCI security scans to remediate any misconfigurations to align with Stryker standards that protect while ensuring overall stability. To do this, the Service Lead will collaborate across multiple teams and functions to help determine issues and provide remediation plans. Individuals in this position have a broad understanding of key technologies, but a focus on our key toolsets and typically enterprise operating systems.

The IT Service Lead has the responsibility of providing technical oversight for both immediate issues due to misconfigurations and exploited vulnerabilities along with long-standing issues requiring phased approaches to implementations.

This position provides security support for IT and Security operations and serves to support infrastructure improvements.

• Provides leadership, vision, and a strong understanding of typical infrastructure platforms and an understanding of general security principles
• Anticipates and recommends changes to processes and documentation that help meet organizational goals and exceed industry best practices and requirements to ensure the security of the Stryker assets
• Consolidate progress reports and present them in meaningful ways to demonstrate progress to Stryker leadership
• Create and communicate metrics that describe progress
• Use metrics to identify continuous improvement initiatives and drive efficiency with the team workflows
• Provide weekly operational reports to the manager, highlighting wins, issues, workflow KPIs, areas for improvement, ticket queue metrics.
• Ability to adapt to ever-changing situations by finding more efficient methods to solve problems.
• Train staff on best practices for deploying and managing security software and configurations
• Helps to align security solutions with business strategies, working primarily with the Security team and Infrastructure Security Operations/Engineering team
• Ensure business security deliverables are aligned with Stryker's global strategy and intervene when appropriate
• Responsible for improving communications and relations, as well as ensuring the integration of security in technology programs and services across Stryker
• Drives adherence to security policies; security programs and plans; and coordinates execution of security policies

What you need:

Minimum B.S. Degree; Computer Science or Information Technology or related field/experience

Languages: English is mandatory, others are a plus

ITIL Foundations a plus.

• 4+ years of professional experience.
• Experience working with global teams.
• 2+ years of IT Engineering/Operations experience
• Recommended 2+ years in a team lead role
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong knowledge of common data center operating systems (MSFT, RHEL)
• Strong knowledge of MSFT Office, specifically Excel
