I&T Lead Test Conductor
KBR is looking for an experienced Integration & Test (I&T) Lead Test Conductor (TC) to support the NASA Capture, Containment and Return System (CCRS) mission through initial integrations, environmental testing, delivery to the Spacecraft, and post-delivery. This role will lead, integrate, develop, and train a team of I&T TCs to support the Capture, Containment and Return System. The Lead will develop a team which minimizes experience/knowledge gaps, grow the team talent base, and produce a highly available and effective team.
This position will be at NASA Goddard in Greenbelt, MD

I&T Lead Test Conductor

This role will lead, integrate, develop, and train a team of I&T TCs to support the Capture, Containment and Return System. The Lead will develop a team which minimizes experience/knowledge gaps, grow the team talent base, and produce a highly available and effective team.
This position will be at NASA Goddard in Greenbelt, MD
Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist with decision making for TC-team responsibilities including but not limited to:
- test setup/coordination and execution
- database management
- hardware and software safety
- personnel and test scheduling
- anomaly identification and mitigation
- Ground Support Equipment development and management
- Telemetry and Command (T&C) System customization and use for CCRS I&T, data storage and availability, developing and managing trending analysis, and I&T network availability/management
- Assist in the development of I&T documents & presentations/materials for Project and I&T reviews
- Provide TC-expertise/communication with other relevant stakeholders, such as, NASA I&T and Project Leads, Spacecraft development team members, Mission/Ground Operations team members, and Quality Assurance
- Ensure all TCs have required trainings and certifications requisite to serve as TCs
- Travel, domestic and international, will be required to support I&T activities including delivery, integration, test/checkout of CCRS deliverables
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree. in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related field
- 12 + years of directly related experience and/or training
- 12 + years of engineering experience in a space mission systems development environment and with demonstrated successful TC leadership experience
- In lieu of formal education 20 + years of directly related experience and/or training in a space mission systems development environment and with demonstrated successful TC leadership experience
- Proven ability in the Integrated Test and Operations System (ITOS) Telemetry and Command system environment
- TC leadership experience working with Flight Hardware and knowledge of the safety considerations and protocols to be followed
- Mission Control Room design and development experience
- Experience working in environments adhering to NPR 7123.1 and NPR 7150.2 processes
- Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and written skills
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly
- Ability and willingness to multi-task and produce innovative methods to solve problems
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
