Manager, IT Infrastructure - North America
Reporting to Global Head - IT Infrastructure, the candidate will primarily be responsible for all infrastructure portfolios (Datacenter, Network, VPN, VoIP, Server, end-points etc.) and Operations across North America. Currently, Cyient N. America has ~1200 employees; 8 medium-sized (50-100 employee) offices and 10 Sales/small offices (5-10 employees).
This position will partner with N. America business stakeholders, global IT leaders & vendors to manage the North America infrastructure.
The focus will be on maintaining overall infrastructure to support the business objectives and implement corporate tools, policies and procedures.
This position will be critical in innovating, transforming, and enhancing processes and capabilities that provide solutions for our customers while at the same time laying the future technology foundation.
Day to day Security operations will be a critical component and responsibility of this position.

Manager, IT Infrastructure - North America

Duties and Role Responsibilities
- Manages the overall infrastructure architecture and supports implementation of hardware, software & security according to business needs.
- Provides supervision to the North America IT Infrastructure team (4-5 members) to meet day to day BAU requirements as well as deliver projects.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-171, DFARS, CMMC, EAR and ITAR regulations regarding data security
- Direct involvement in incidents or problems that cause service impact and acts as escalation point for incidents not being resolved in a timely manner
- Manage overall capacity utilization, and optimize infrastructure to meet business requirements
- Lead the IT Hygiene Program, including Vulnerability Management and Configuration Assurance functions
- Work with other IT Infra Leaders to establish standards and best practices for managing internal infrastructure, including network, telecom, end-user computing, servers & storage, internal applications.
- Implement policies/standards to improve the quality and efficiency of support services based on ITIL methodology.
- Develops and controls the IT operations annual operating and capital expenditure budget for N.America and manages expenses to stay within plan.
- Works closely with IT Service Desk and other IT stakeholders to ensure timely, robust and comprehensive services to the users
- Responsible for overall system and infrastructure availability and develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures
- Provides Citrix, VMWare and HyperV support and administration.
- Manages Cisco Switches, Cisco Firewall and Routers support and administration
- Develop and manage supplier relationships and contracts
- Create and ensures processes and procedures are in place and executed to meet ISO27001, TL9000 and other Security standards and help in Internal and external Audits
- Ensures delivery of individual and team projects allocated within aggressive delivery times
- Monitors business critical processes and systems
- Builds and maintains relationships with other IT and business leaders to understand business needs and provide cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs.
- Installs, configures and supports new and existing servers and network infrastructure
- Conducts testing and analysis of all components of network and server infrastructure components
- Maintains and constantly improves server and network performance, reliability and security in line with BS 7799 / ISO 27001 and best practice
- Execution of DR tests as planned and agreed
- Maintains a schedule of formal service reviews with key stakeholders and management of the key 3rd party providers who provide the IT operational service
- Provide occasional out of hours support
Education
- Degree in IT or related discipline
- CISCO CCNA/CCNP Certified (Desirable)
- CISM/CISSP (Good to have)
- In depth in EAR/ITAR, ITIL Knowledge
Experience
- 15+ years of experience of managing IT infrastructure and service delivery, preferably with a medium/Large size organization. Good hands-on experience desired.
- 5+ years in Cyber Security, ISO27001 and other Security Standards
- Project management experience in both software and hardware disciplines.
- Good understanding of Server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks, firewalls and load balancers, telecom, etc.
- A probing and analytical approach with the ability to pre-empt potential problems and identify inefficiencies
- A very strong customer orientated approach with a delivery bias
- Broad knowledge of Infrastructure technologies including cloud, Information Technology Support methodologies, and hardware technologies
- Ability to prioritize and allocate resource/effort appropriately
- Experience of working with 3rd party service providers
Technical
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server
- In depth knowledge of Networking technologies and concepts. Good understanding of VMWare / Hyper V
- Good knowledge in Messaging (MS Exchange, Archiving, Unified Communications)
- Good understanding of IT security and Data protection
- Good understanding of Cloud and mobile technology
