About the Role
Rocket Travel is looking for an IT Manager to lead our growing IT team. This role will focus on managing the team and overseeing our IT services, including tech support, employee onboarding, and laptop security. The role will also involve collaboration with our People Ops (HR) team, Security team, and the IT team of our parent company, Agoda.

- Total Compensation is based on experience - Salary: $95k - 135k, Bonus: up to 20%

- Lead the IT team, overseeing services such as desktop support, office A/V support, laptop prep/onboarding for new hires, maintaining laptop security compliance, etc
- Manage 3 IT Support Technicians, helping them grow in their skills and careers, and expanding the team as needed
- Oversee IT projects as needed (new AV technology, new software rollouts, etc)
- Take ownership of our IT policies and controls, designing policies and determining implementation/enforcement
- Liaise with the IT team of our parent company (Agoda, located in Bangkok), aligning on quarterly goals and progress
About you:
- You have 7+ years of experience in IT support, including several years managing a team
- You’ve managed large IT projects, such as technology migrations and large deployments
- You’re comfortable with administering both in-person and remote technical support
- You have expertise operating and administering both PC and Mac laptops
- You enjoy working with a variety of software, hardware, and SaaS systems (Knowledge of Office 365 and experience deploying A/V solutions are a plus)
- You have knowledge of IT, security, and compliance best practices
- Communicating clearly and effectively comes naturally to you, including via chat and email
- You have a passion for empowering colleagues, and helping your team members learn and grow
- You have prior experience with security/MDM software
