Our Information Technology (IT) Division seeks an IT manager, who will be responsible for ensuring that the hardware and software used by our company is compatible, secure, and scalable. As an IT Manager you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's assets, data, and operations by developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, leading a dedicated security team, and ensuring the efficient management of security resources. Responsible for leading our technical support team to provide excellent customer service and resolve all technical issues. Ability to ensure high quality technical support and increase client satisfaction is a priority for this role. - Responsible for overall security implementation and operations.
- Establish and/or maintain an information security strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives to guide the establishment and/or ongoing management of the information security program.
- Identify internal and external influences on the organization (e.g., emerging technologies, social media, business environment, risk tolerance, regulatory requirements, third-party considerations, threat landscape) to ensure that these factors are continually addressed by the information security strategy.
- Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components. Is responsible for overall management and coordination of AiM's IT Operations (Support Ops and Production Support teams), providing diagnosis, ticket processing, routing and resolution.
- Is responsible for managing the call handling processes, and must be an expert in service queue management, Service Level Agreement (SLA) monitoring, reporting and achievement of Support Ops service objectives.
- Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the IT needs of users are met. Is responsible for the ordering, building, managing, and tracking of all corporate devices such as computers, phones, printers, cameras, and other corporate devices as identified.
- Provides feedback to team members on quality of work and customer satisfaction, and serves as the liaison between team members, client management, and company management.
- Should have a firm grasp of technological concepts and hardware/software tools related to Support Operations.
- Monitors ticket volumes and performance metrics while supporting the team in exceeding expectations, including corrective action if necessary. Will determine team member work schedules to meet customer needs, coordinate after hours support, on-call support, and fill-in support.
- Define, communicate, and monitor information security responsibilities throughout the organization (e.g., data owners, data custodians, end users, privileged or high-risk users) and lines of authority.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security analysts and professionals and assign tasks, set goals, and monitor performance to ensure the security team operates effectively.
- Manage our response to security incidents and ensure that they are appropriately addressed, documented, and reported.
- Coordinate response efforts during security incidents, ensuring minimal impact and rapid resolution. Develop and maintain an incident response plan to handle security breaches and incidents effectively.
- Test, review, and revise (as applicable) the incident response plan periodically to ensure an effective response to information security incidents and to improve response capabilities.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to determine the root cause of information security incidents, develop corrective actions, reassess risk, evaluate response effectiveness and take appropriate remedial actions.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security/applications/network monitoring tools and systems.
- Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Promote security awareness and educate employees on security best practices.
- Ensure that risk assessments, vulnerability assessments and threat analyses are conducted consistently, at appropriate times, and to identify and assess risk to the organization's information.
- Establish and maintain information security processes and resources (including people and technologies) to execute the information security program in alignment with the organization's business goals.
- Plan, establish and manage the capability to detect, investigate, respond to and recover from information security incidents to minimize business impact.
- Establish and maintain communication plans and processes to manage communication with internal and external entities.
- Establish and maintain integration among the incident response plan, business continuity plan and disaster recovery plan.
- Serve as a key member of the Technology Organization's Leadership Team.
- Regular and consistent attendance and availability.
- Other duties, special projects and/or aspects may be assigned/requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Has full supervisory responsibility for medium to large groups of usually skilled and highly skilled employees.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.
1. Job Knowledge and Skill:
- 7+ years of experience in application security, information risks, and developing security threat solutions.
- At least 5+ years of IT experience, preferably in a helpdesk or support department.
- Proficiency with firewalls, endpoint security, mobility management, and vulnerability scanning.
- Experience in performing critical analysis of complex systems and processes, developing tactical and strategic plans using new and emerging concepts.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment methodologies, and threat landscape analysis required.
- Strong cloud infrastructure background (Azure, AWS).
- Technical infrastructure experience, including Azure cloud deployments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Windows Servers, Cloud Architecture and Virtual infrastructure.
- Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving action.
- Good to have SOC 2 experience.
- Good to have CISSP certification.
- Good to have CISM Certification.
2.Education:
Bachelor's and/or Master-s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fieldor equivalent experience
3.Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of power point, word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available.
4.Communication Skills:
Ability to excel in a team environment required. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
5.Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research
6.Travel:
Light overnight travel.
Compensation:
- Salaried/exempt - TBD upon hiring, This is a 100% remote position.
