The Mission

We are seeking an IT Manager within our Operations team. The right candidate is someone who can act as a technical systems individual contributor and is passionate about partnering with HR, Operations, and other departments to architect, implement, and maintain our internal IT systems.

We’re currently utilizing software technologies such as Slack, Rippling, Google Workspaces, Microsoft 365, AWS, LastPass, Salesforce, Notion, Atlassian Jira, and a number of other leading software solutions. Exceptional candidates will have experience managing IT for services or startup organizations that have scaled to hundreds of employees and understand the rapid pace of IT systems growth necessary to enable this type of growth.

Your Assignment

  • Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
  • Monitor performance of SaaS and IT solutions to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving overall IT infrastructure.
  • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and process.
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
  • Monitor and manage IT support tickets, which includes troubleshooting and fixing issues related to internal IT infrastructure.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in IT Operations.
  • Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructure across various technologies.
  • Experience with automation software suites (Powershell, Python, Chef, or Puppet).
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
  • Experience with inventory and device management (MDM, Antivirus, etc.) best practices supporting a 100% remote workforce.

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. If you are hired at Caylent, your base salary is determined on factors such as skills, experience, geographic location, and other market conditions. While it's not typical for offers to be made at the top of the range, please keep in mind that the base salary range is only one component of your overall compensation. Additionally, you are eligible for the benefits, bonuses, and incentives as listed above in the job description!
