What You’ll Be Doing
BeatStars is looking for a highly technical IT Manager who will be responsible for supporting the hardware and software for our team. As the face of IT, the IT Manager must have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills and be willing to interface with a combination of both technical and non-technical departments. The primary task of this position will be to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues, install and support the systems, and assist with the day-to-day operations of BeatStars’ IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Assume a primary role in the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents and problems
- Administer SaaS applications such as G-Suite, JIRA, etc.
- Work with teams across the organization to create an amazing experience for all new hires in a remote environment
- Manage software and hardware licenses and services
- User provisioning and deprovisioning, which will include creating, updating and deleting user accounts in multiple applications and systems.
- Setup and troubleshoot A/V for conference rooms and collaboration spaces
- Evaluate existing and upcoming processes, and provide feedback for improvements
- Anticipate and plan for issues and needs as BeatStars grows and scales
- Create high-quality documentation for both colleagues and end users
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and maintenance
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years in an IT Support role
- Strong dedication to creating an amazing employee service experience
- Demonstrated experience managing Macs, SaaS products, and A/V solutions
- Experience in a mixed environment (Mac and Windows)
- Experience delivering long-term solutions to technical problems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of basic networking
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Comfortable digging into dense, technical details
- Passion for technology, driven to keep up with the latest trends
- Strong service orientation and passion for delivering innovative solutions
- Elite technical troubleshooting ability
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
