IT Manager

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

This is a full-time position for an experienced IT Manager to work at MountainSeed's office in Atlanta. The IT Manager is a subject matter expert and is responsible for managing and supporting MountainSeed's internal IT infrastructure to ensure efficient operations and effective security controls. We're looking for a skilled, highly productive professional who can successfully manage IT operations in a fast paced, growing organization.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL GET TO:

• Manage and support MountainSeed's internal IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, cloud servers, email system, conference/phone system, laptops, hardware and software
• Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, event log research and resource monitoring
• Manage IT staff, including recruiting, training/coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
• Manage IT Service Desk function providing support and technical assistance to end-users on computer-related matters
• Maintain backups and restore systems and disaster recovery preparedness
• Maintain and enforce internal IT security policies and procedures
• Develop and assign employee security training curriculum
• Manage IT employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Assess technologies, processes, and vendors on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement to ensure these continue to meet organizational demands
• Research, evaluate and propose emerging technologies, hardware and software to increase efficiency and enhance workflow as organization needs change
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
• Participate in incident, change, and release management activities to ensure alignment with IT disaster recovery strategy.
• Manage IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

• 5+ years proven experience in IT infrastructure and IT service desk support
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365 administration
• Demonstrated experience with a hybrid cloud environment based on Microsoft Azure,AWS, and SharePoint
• Demonstrated experience with managing Azure Active Directory environment.
• General understanding of security principals such as access control, network security controls, and encryption
• Understanding of and experience with service desk solutions and change management processes
• Understanding of security concepts, including firewall management, hard drive encryption, IDS/IPS, Malware protection/Anti-Virus software, and log management
• Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity
• MCSA and/or MCSE Certification(s) are a plus
• Multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage staff
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
