How You Will Make a Difference

This is a full-time position for an experienced IT Manager to work at MountainSeed's office in Atlanta. The IT Manager is a subject matter expert and is responsible for supporting MountainSeed's internal IT infrastructure working closely with outside vendors, employees and management to ensure efficient operations and effective security controls. We're looking for a responsive, highly productive professional who can advise and work with both vendors and employees to ensure continued successful IT operations.

In This Role, You'll Get To:

  • Coordinate the planning, implementation, and maintenance of internal IT products and services
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks and printers
  • Provide end-user support for a variety of applications
  • Troubleshoot IT related issues for both hardware and software
  • Coordinate the set-up of data services, as well as phone, computer, and printer installation
  • Set up accounts and computers for new users
  • Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands
  • Manage daily IT operations and escalations working closely with outsourced help desk vendor
  • Provide suggestions on new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve internal employee satisfaction
  • Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means
  • Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use
  • Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT infrastructure
  • Develop, document and manage internal IT Security Policy using best practices
  • Manage employee security training

This opportunity is for you if you have/are:

  • 5+ years proven experience managing IT infrastructure and services in Microsoft Azure environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365 administration
  • MCSA and/or MCSE Certification(s) are a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with a hybrid cloud environment based on Microsoft Azure and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated experience with managing Azure Active Directory environment
  • General understanding of security principals such as access control, network security controls, and encryption (disk and transport)
  • Understanding of and experience with helpdesk solutions and change management processes
  • Ability to document IT processes and procedures
  • Understanding of security concepts, including firewall management, hard drive encryption, IDS/IPS, Malware protection/Anti-Virus software, and log management
  • AWS management is required
  • Industry certifications and memberships a plus
  • Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
