POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Manager is an integral member of the ACB leadership team responsible for ensuring quality delivery of IT projects through day to day management of the ongoing development teams. Working closely with the IT leadership team, the IT Manager assists with development of best practices, processes and policies that align with ACB's strategic initiatives for our web and data environments. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, negotiation, communication, relationship building, project management and interpersonal skills. One key responsibility for this role is to build a strong working relationship with our Operations Team and engage in a hands-on manner to solve problems alongside the team. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor as we launch our next generation of IT and be part of the digital and data transformation programs.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach web developers and data management team at different levels of experience.
• Create a motivated and engaged work environment for the Web Development and Data Teams.
• Maintain continuous knowledge of technology trends supporting product efficiency.
• Manage and execute against project plans and deliver commitments within a professional, high paced environment.
• Manage the conflicting priorities for the IT team to allow proper prioritization of projects
• Interface with our internal/external customers to understand requirements, set priorities and communicate direction and progress.
• Drive improvements in software development practices.
• Provide best practices guidance, governance and oversight to the development initiatives requiring ETL processes for the Data Management Team.
• Research strategic directions for emerging technologies and work with IT Leadership to bring to life.
• Develop project plans and timelines; responsible for project commitments to quality and on-time deliverables for the IT Team.
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the team and implement performance improvements.
• Analyze, prioritize, assign, and follow up on all areas of IT responsibilities: projects, tasks, bug fixes and development of features and functions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Report weekly to senior management on project deliverables, risks and resource load.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• B.S in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of Study OR equivalent combination or education and experience

Technical Knowledge:

• Database design principles in MS SQL
• Experience in object-oriented programming
• Design and coding experience ASP.Net Core .NET, C#, MS SQL, and Angular/React technologies to develop solutions using modern design patterns and Service Oriented frameworks

Managerial Experience:

• Minimum of five years demonstrated leadership and management of an IT Team.
• Must be very organized with excellent follow up skills.
• Must be able to take initiative on projects and take responsibility for project completion.
