Job Title:  IT Manager, PM/EMR Solutions

Reports To:  Director, IT PM/EMR Solution

SUMMARY   

Support Software Applications, RCM Report Requests, Optical, and other partnerships. 

Demonstrates quality patient service during interactions with patients, coworkers, and vendors:

Application Related Responsibilities

• Application support, NextGen
• Build reports in NextGen PM  
• Coordinate with Optical staff on projects  
• Monitor support tickets for applications to assist team 
• Understand Continuum process to educate staff
• Interface support such as Health Bridge, Rosetta, etc.
• Work with Revenue Cycle team on reports, various projects, and plans
• Work with other departments as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY  

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the NextGen team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Direct or indirect responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training team members, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members. Addresses team member issues and concerns, facilitates conflict resolution.      

DIRECT REPORTS  

Incumbent is responsible for providing supervision and leadership to staff in the following job titles:  

• IT Business Analyst

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE  

• Associates degree or above. 
• 5+ years of Medical Software experience in a healthcare environment.   
• NextGen EPM experience preferred.
• Some level of higher learning (college or trade school) is preferred.    
• Working knowledge of medical practice administration strongly preferred.  
• Work experience in trouble shooting, triaging, and successful resolution.
• Self-motivated individual that thinks differently, unconventionally, or from a new perspective.  
• Individuals that are resourceful, good communicators, and enjoy working with people.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, customer service and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, and ability to execute despite vagueness.
