This IT role partners with business leadership to support and enable the Business Strategy and Goals.

What you will do

This IT role partners with US Finance, HR and Procurement organizations and respective Leadership on key initiatives in support of the definition of the overall Finance Strategy.

  • Shape demand for new IT capabilities to prioritize technology investments; Deliver ~$2-5M/year worth of new capabilities via project delivery and management; gather business requirements and work with business to achieve value realization. Lead successful change management efforts.
  • Partner to define strategy and roadmaps and to deploy business solutions that drive business KPIs. Lead/influence cross-functional teams experienced in critical business processes and enabling technologies.
  • Develops and ensures governance of enterprise frameworks and standards (business process, data, business rules and tools).
  • Business community relationship building, influencing, prioritizing, and solution scoping to improve business processes, data quality and current solution usage/leverage. Actively engages business to realize solution benefits/results.
  • Work closely with HR, Procurement and Finance managers/directors and are the bridge between the technology and reporting teams
  • IT SAP architect, advisor and single point of contact; delivery of successful project outcomes; Regional SAP solution design/build/test and application support (L3)
  • SAP Application strategy; Creation and maintenance of application roadmaps highlighting technology risks and plans to address; provide organization with knowledge of vendor roadmaps and emerging technical capabilities in existing domains; maintain architecture stds
  • Build new features and new applications based on approved demand from regions/global: plan development resources, estimate effort/costs; qualify, select and negotiate SOWs with solution delivery and support providers; govern designs to fulfill architectural, software development and compliance requirements
  • Manage applications in compliance with regulatory requirements (SOX, PCI, GDPR, CSL); fulfill audit requests for information.
  • Building business requirements, managing the sequence, and delivering business intent and execution following predetermined product strategy for offers.
  • Business analyst managers serve as a liaison between IT and business teams; they find ways to increase productivity and efficiency. Develop and manage relationships with relevant stakeholders and their respective requests for analysis
  • Implement Digital solution delivery model aligned with regional business strategies
  • Lead and develop internal Clarios IT talent; 1-4 members
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results. Stay current with customer needs and strategies. Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • Identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
  • Monitoring the progress of projects by tracking activity, resolving issues, and recommending actions; and also providing regular updates on deliverable timeline and project status to senior management and project management.
  • Facilitate project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff)
  • Critical thinker and analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and strong leadership and collaborative skills, as well as project management skills
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level;
  • Developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination. Develop and execute test plans
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with senior leadership to define strategic program/project objectives and key success factors.
  • Actively partner with business stakeholders, IT leaders and project sponsors to manage program/project scope, risks and issues to gain consensus on go forward approach/plans.
  • Manage resource, cost and timeline planning for program/projects.
  • Continuously measure performance to ensure the program and child projects are progressing per original plan and budget.
  • Coordinate resources to ensure program/project and business needs are addressed through proactive priority management with business leaders.
  • Communicate project progress by producing targeted project reports to provide timely and accurate status and decision support information to project teams, project stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Drive coordination within IT functional towers such as PMO, Information Management (Reporting), security, data migration and our AMS team for post Go-Live support transitions.
  • Drive conflict management and issue resolution.
  • Manage implementation partner vendor relationships.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer science or related discipline required (graduate level degree preferred).
  • 10 + years IT and/or project management experience with at least four full life-cycle ERP projects and two global projects.
  • Candidate must understand HR and Finance related processes, SAP ERP knowledge is these areas is desired.
  • Demonstrated mastery as a project manager, delivering successful IT project and/or operational excellence (Six Sigma) initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to work in collaborative team environments and establish and maintain on-going business relationships.
  • Proven experience in negotiating difficult matters, influencing others to achieve results and facilitating facilitates cross functional project teams.

  • Ability to travel as needed by the business (domestic travel, expected travel less than 5% for projects)
