As an IT Network Administrator, you will ensure optimal network availability, performance, and data integrity. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of Stryker's network, utilizing a solid understanding of networking concepts, hardware, software, and security protocols.

What You Will Do:

  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, UPS's, and other hardware.
  • Package and ship configured equipment to remote sites, when necessary.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages promptly.
  • Maintain network security protocols and measures to protect the network against unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Enforce security policies and access controls.
  • Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including updates and patches.
  • Implement network infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Manage network-related software, such as operating systems and network applications.
  • Maintain inventory of network assets and their configurations.
  • Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related issues.
  • Test and update configuration backups regularly to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
  • Maintain network schematic diagrams.
  • Prepare reports on network performance, security, and usage.
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services are delivered in line with expectation to ensure successful delivery of services.
  • Follow company procedures and ITIL best practice for Change, Incident, Capacity and Problem management.
  • Ensure that the network infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements including but not limited to FDA, SOX, ISO regulatory authorities. Coordinate, prepare and respond to all IT audit requests and resolve any audit findings.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent work experience required.
  • Current Cisco CCNA, PCNSE or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • ITIL v3 foundation or higher qualification preferred.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to implement Cisco LAN, WAN, WLAN and Palo Alto Firewalls highly preferred.
  • Applied technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including the OSI model and TCP/IP preferred.
  • Experience of Data Centre environment, Nexus Switching, and F5 load balancing desirable preferred.
  • Experience of delivering network infrastructure in a regulated manufacturing environment and manufacturing systems preferred.
  • Experience of cloud networking preferred.
  • Experience of deploying SD-WAN preferred.
  • Applied knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws preferred.

Travel Percentage: 10%
