IT Network Project Management Senior Advisor- Work from home
Job Description
- Provide vendor management support during outage and incident situations including management of follow up activities through root cause analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate processes and work with vendors, technology, business partners improve crisis management and on-going support
- Measure vendor performance, including vendor's ability to define issues, respond, and escalate appropriately, engage relevant executives when required, and solve issues efficiently.
- Ensure thorough account management, by reviewing established quality metrics, and ensuring vendors are providing the services and obligations in accordance with contracted terms outlined in their vendor agreement
- Work with procurement and contract personnel to ensure adherence to negotiated vendor OLA's and SLA's
- Facilitate technology roadmap sessions with key stakeholders to promote understanding of vendor technology roadmaps and strategic direction
- Develop and maintain a repository of vendor documentation, key resources, and partnership strategy
- Work with strategic vendors to establish end execute continuous improvement opportunities through overall governance processes
- Provide vendor management support for off-hour technology activities that may result in application, infrastructure, cloud, etc. changes that may impact business services. Oversee off-hour technology activities to ensure successful implementation and/or communication to key stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of Vendor Management principles and best practices, project management methodologies (Agile) and high degree of proficiency in diplomacy to ensure effective working relationships.
- Customer Relationship Management - Drive efforts to understand internal colleague needs and summarize business requirements as input into enterprise-wide sourcing efforts, work to identify, prioritize and manage requirements for current, new and changing corporate activities
- Excellent problem-solving, statistical, financial management, and contract negotiation skills
- Demonstrated overall understanding of IT systems (voice, data, desktop virtualization, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate vendor relationships, support service level agreements, and resolve complex issues affecting vendor management related projects. Can effectively communicate new ideas to audiences ranging from team members to Senior Leadership
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and decisiveness, takes prompt action to accomplish goals, proactively attempts to influence events rather than passively accept outcomes
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems, Incident, Change and Problem Management systems or equivalent (ServiceNow, etc).
- Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of project partners; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; execute with limited information and ambiguity
- Excellent risk and opportunity management - identify, assess, prioritize, document and manage risk, and its impact.
- Team player who can manage ambiguity and work within a highly matrix environment
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 111,500 - 185,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
