Job Summary:

  • The IT On-Site Support Engineer is a member of IT France team and reports to the IT France Manager.
  • He/She provides IT support to users on site when/where required, especially when the Service Desk team can’t solve issues remotely.
  • While Corporate IT Service Owners are responsible for defining IT services and enabling their delivery, the IT On-Site Support Engineer facilitates the deployment and support of IT services on site.
  • This includes typically troubleshooting of hardware and software issues on Windows 10/11 environment, Laptops deployment and support, lifecycle and storage management, Printers, Telephony, Video Conference systems and Meeting rooms support, on demand VP support, application support, Wired and WiFi network support.
  • He/She provides support to Business Events and Stand-up Meetings.
  • Facilitates on site IT trainings, IT round table, information sharing and awareness sessions for end users.
  • Supports the deployment of Global IT Strategy, Corporate directives, global changes and projects.
  • Handles complaints and follow up actions together with the Site IT Manager.
  • Has mandate to contact users regarding legal issue, license issue, in absence of the Site IT Manager.
  • Gathers feedback on delivered services and identify improvements in services and processes.
  • Attends and provides support to IT audits, quality audits, security audits.
  • Works on improvement plans, recommendations and observations as outcome of audits.
  • Ensures policy requirements are implemented properly on site to secure certifications.
  • Works in close collaboration with all key stakeholders on site.
  • Works with peers of other sites and attends global IT On-Site Support engineers meetings within his network of expertise as member of a global team, to share best practices and improve global services and processes.
  • Contributes to customer satisfaction related to all IT services provided.
  • Establish good relationship with colleagues, local IT team and users.

Job Qualification:

  • At least Bachelor degree in IT
  • IT support expertise on Windows 10/11, Linux is a plus, Network related issues understanding
  • First time right attitude, able to build trustworthy relationship with users and stakeholders
  • Good communication skills, both in French and English
  • Experience with acting between business & IT service organization
  • Good IT background knowledge covering multiple domains including network basics, workplace and applications support
  • End user focus, enthusiastic and positive mindset towards customer satisfaction.
  • Able to manage client expectations.
  • Experience within a global organization is a plus
