IT Operations Engineer

Plus is looking for an experienced System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer to join our IT team as an Operations Engineer supporting our enterprise environment. This will be an onsite role based in our Santa Clara, California office. As an Operations Engineer at Plus, you will be providing IT services and support to a diverse team that is working to build the next generation of autonomous driving solutions. You will be providing solutions across the entire scope of IT services including end user, workstation, server, cloud, and application support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide enterprise service and support using IT Service Management best practices
• Configure, setup, and maintain corporate network infrastructure including WiFi, DMZ, and VPNs
• Provide advanced IT support for end users including Linux, MacOS, and Windows systems
• Maintain up to date inventory of hardware and software assets deployed
• Procurement and deployment of workstations, servers, networking, and general IT equipment
• Facilities support including alarm systems, access control, and AV equipment
• Work with multiple teams to plan and implement IT projects based on business requirements
• Develop and expand internal and user documentation for IT owned systems and applications

Required Skills:

• A minimum of 5+ years of IT and Networking administration and user support
• Strong practical foundation as a Linux/Unix administrator in a multi-user environment
• Experience managing Linux environments with NVIDIA GPUs a plus
• Familiarity with general corporate networking design, setup, and support, including WiFi
• Proficient in scripting languages for automating infrastructure support (Python, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
• Passion for playing IT generalist, system administrator, and tech support roles
• Knowledge and experience with industry standard automation/configuration management tools, open source technologies, and cloud services
• Strong communication skills and willingness to pitch in as necessary to enable others to do their best work

Salary Range:

• $120,000 - $160,000 a year
