What is the key purpose of an IT Operations Engineer? 

As an IT Operations Engineer working at Taboola in our Los Angeles offices you will be responsible for supporting our employees in solving any variety of different IT issues that may arise on a daily basis. We believe that someone who enjoys real-time problem solving and working in a fast-paced, high achieving environment will thrive in this role.

What skills and qualifications do I need?

For this role it is essential that you have:

• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience.

• Experience working in an IT support position .

• Experience troubleshooting Mac & PC related issues.

• Experience troubleshooting network issues.

• Great service attitude.

It’d be great if you also have: 

• Knowledgeable around Google applications. 
• Basic knowledge of Jira.
• Familiarity with Linux. 

What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?

As a IT Operations Engineer, you will: 

• Provide excellent service as the focal technical operations point for the LA office employees and managers.
• Troubleshoot networking issues and configure networking infrastructure and services (such as video conferencing).
• Take charge of new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software and hardware related problems.
• Performs system backups and recovery as needed.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on Macs and PCs.
• Work closely with the IT team in Israel in fixing issues and initiating improvements.
