IT Operations Lead
Key Skills: Project management, PMO, project portfolio, KPI of IT Operations, performance tracking, monitoring, PMO Operations, SOP, ITIL, PMI, Agile, Vendor Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Further development of effective project portfolio approach fitting the business goals of the site
- Development of standards for project management, methodology and risk mitigation to improve effectiveness, compliance, and efficiency.
- Process owner for overall Site Leader Team (SLT) Steering of project resources & reporting.
- Provide an overview of all internal & site wide projects.
- Support SLT to coordinate all projects, especially strategic projects with respect to resource commitments, synergy, and conflict resolution.
- Support for the preparation and setting up of projects for SLT approval.
- Ensuring lessons learned from running and closed projects supporting continuous improvement.
- Clarify site wide what is a project and what not, and when we do projects how we plan and execute in an aligned way using well understood terminology and following best practice.
- Active support of AGILE programs with respect to project management practices
- Support SLT on site reporting 'Deep dive' troubleshooting on projects in difficulties.
- Building project management capability in a community of practice across the site
- Networking across ties around all activities to 'copy with pride' & contribute to best practice sharing as appropriate.
- Experience in managing a cross functional project portfolio of diverse types
- Several years experience in project management, methods & tools
- Several years experience in planning and budgeting of large and complex projects of different types.
- Wide experience in successfully leading cross functional project teams within the context of a Matrix Organization.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in managing Captive/GCC (Global capability center).
- Strong experience in managing PMO Operations, Project Management, project portfolio, KPI of IT Operations, performance tracking, monitoring, SOP, ITIL, PMI, Agile, Vendor Management,
- Pharma standards GXP, SOX (Good to have)
- Graduation in any discipline is Must.
- Good to have PMO certification.
- Effectively communicate with varying levels of management i.e. IT Executives, IT Project Managers, Supplier Representatives, etc.
- Collaborative partner able to influence and drive accountability across organizational and domain boundaries.
- Advocates for needed change across the organization that add to our success.
- Prior experience in managing supplier and/or customer relationships.
- Experience with technology evaluation, deployment and project management in an Agile environment is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence others in a matrix setting.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment.
