IT Operations Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As our IT Operations Manager, you will create the best working experience for our Taloners’ around the globe, troubleshoot technical issues so they remain highly productive and take full ownership of implementing scalable tools and solutions for our on-site and distributed team. 

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

Strategize, craft and steer the IT Operations roadmap, and work cross-functionally with:

• People Operations team on ensuring Taloners are seamlessly on-& off-boarded, internal process alignment and proper documentation
• Information Security experts on compliance and auditing (i.e. ISO, SOC2)
• Internal stakeholders on managing tech vendors and contract procurements and renewals
• Introduce, monitor and maintain work experience and processes to support the best experience for our employees
• Ensure security, access controls and backups for organization-wide tools and data

To streamline operations and enhance security, we are currently in the process of implementing a global hardware distribution vendor and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Previous experience navigating the challenges of distributed teams
• A good measure of independence and comfort in working autonomously
• A knack for troubleshooting across diverse platforms like MacOS, Windows, and Linux
• Resourcefulness and the ability to find solutions rapidly
• Mastery of essential tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Zoom, and Bitwarden administration
• Fluency in English and German language skills at the B1 level
• Curiosity and aspiration to automate processes and make both your job easier and everybody's work life easier
