Overview

Blue Yonder is seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead with primary accountability for establishing, executing and measuring a successful IT OCM capability at Blue Yonder. This role is responsible for organizational readiness and stewardship of transformational change as defined by organizational strategy, goals and objectives.

This position assists stakeholders in managing all aspects of change associated with the strategy, projects, and transformational initiatives of the organization to align with business processes, systems and technology, job functions and organizational structures. This includes oversight and leadership of all organizational change management project team activities.

This role will focus on the people side of change. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize stakeholder adoption and usage while minimizing resistance.The Change Management Lead will work with the project teams and organizational leaders to ensure adoption, utilization and proficiency of the changes that impact associates across the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Organizational Change Management:
  • Design, develop and implement change management strategy, plans and roadmaps in support of IT vision, strategy and initiatives supported by the IT Organization
  • Supervises execution of activities related to organizational change management and associate readiness
  • Complete overall change management assessment, forges plan for ongoing & routine OCM in support of IT delivered projects and initiatives
  • Perform/assess Stakeholder and change impact analysis identifying potential impacts/risks associated with IT projects and initiatives
  • Manages resolution of potential organizational obstacles, guides others in mitigation planning
  • Communicates and educates the associate community on business process, technology changes, objectives, and requirements to include a means by which to evaluate and ensure organizational readiness
  • Works with process teams to ensure that new design elements are being appropriately communicated to targeted audiences and that changes are effectively incorporated into associate and IT training content
  • Identify and anticipate organizational challenges and/or resistance; develop risk mitigation plan
  • Spearhead initiatives to develop associate understanding and acceptance of impacts on specific job functions, policies, technology impacts and business practices
  • Assists organizational and project leaders in identification of training needs and requirements for ongoing initiatives and technology based projects
  • Partners with Learning and Development to create programs of relevant content pertaining to the change
  • Manage change management activities in the OCM Roadmap
  • Maintains communication plan and schedule which outlines overall change management and communications plan across the landscape of strategy & deliverable

Communication:
  • Guides IT organization on interpretation of business process and IT processes to ensure that new process and technology design elements are being appropriately communicated to the organization
  • Ensures consistent and timely presentation of the IT strategy, initiatives, projects in all media, including presentations, social platforms, web sites, memos, speeches, videos, print, etc.
  • Established and facilitates the change network responsible for communicating change throughout the organization (i.e. - Business Units, IT, Executives and Individual Contributors)
  • Develops and maintains process for associate facing communication review and validation
  • Facilitate meetings, deliver presentations as required


Project Management Activities:
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the IT Leaders, Associates, Business Partners, Project Managers and Business Associates at multiple levels
  • Ensures timely and high quality OCM deliverables of the team
  • Assists with development detailed work plan and integration of the Change Management plan into the overall project plan
  • Manages team on OCM activities to the plan and timeline
  • Identifies, tracks, reports and resolves issues
  • Attends relevant project meetings, scrums and provides regular updates to Project Manager and other Stakeholders as requested
  • Assesses skills and attributions of Transition Team


Qualifications
  • BA/BS or MS degree in communications, marketing or change management related field or equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years leadership in business, technical or project leadership experience, preferable working with technologies
  • Experience with common software solutions (Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, ServiceNow, etc. preferred)
  • A minimum of 7 years working in a marketing & communications or IT change or PM related role.
  • Has successfully led delivery of multiple complex business technology solutions into production that have achieved or surpassed business goals
  • Familiarity with managing technology projects and/or operations at scale in and Agile methodology
  • Skilled at setting and communicating priorities effectively; able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Skilled at removing barriers and acting with a sense of urgency and encouraging others to so
  • Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods
  • Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting
  • An exceptional listener, able to comprehend what is said and probe for important details
  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms
  • Demonstrated acumen and passion for both business and technology, including the latest digital innovations as they apply to the creation of business value
  • Highly self-motivated
