IT Product Manager
Job Description
We're currently in search of a Product Manager to lead new solution development and life cycle management for provider-initiated testing through a cross-functional team. The Product Manager must advocate and prioritize business cases to the segment VP/Product Director, win support to execute strategies through Marketing and IT, and help lead efforts to evolve product management practices, but not limited to the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement strategies to support growth of our Business to Provider initiatives
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to gain insights, identify needs, market trends, and gaps in Labcorp's product offering
- Identify, develop strategic rationale and business cases for, and, lead development of products/ solutions to address unmet customer needs
- Identify and recommend process improvements in Agile and product management methodologies
- For new launches, represent Agreement on the launch team to ensure coding, reporting, training, advertising/promotion, channel strategies and other tactics are launch-ready
- Partner with the Marketing organization on product/solution marketing strategy
- Collaborates with market research to deliver insights on customer needs and desired solutions
REQUIRED:
- Normally requires a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or MBA with at least Minimum of 5+ years of Product Management, Software Engineering, or Software Development experience
- Solid technical skills to be able to apply technology solutions to client/market requests
- Demonstrated experience of healthcare sector (technical, data analytics, informatics, software and/or IT products).
- Demonstrated success in entire life cycle of a product
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Product Management certification from Pragmatic Institute a plus
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; comfortable interacting and presenting with senior executives of health systems, Health Plans, executive management
- The ability to partner with senior leaders to ensure alignment of customer segment principles for product and selling approaches to maximize market share within the sector.
- Superb customer service and relationship building capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while adhering to project schedule.
- Ability to travel on an as needed basis (up to 25%).
