The IT Program Director is responsible for researching, planning, developing, and implementing Elara's programs. This position will manage a streamlined demand intake process for new and ongoing projects. The incumbent is responsible for prioritizing needs and working closely with IT Solution Partners & business stakeholders. The IT Program Director will create business cases for budget approvals and deliver high-quality projects on time while remaining within the allocated budget.

What is Required?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or another related field required
- 8 years of experience working with IT programs/projects, project cost management including preparing cost estimates to determine project budgets, projecting Estimates to Complete (ETC)
- 5 years of successful management leadership, financial management, and organizational change management are required
- Experience in Home Health or Hospice environment is preferred
- Program Management Professional certification or equivalent is preferred
- Works with stakeholders to define and execute program business plans, focusing on delivering programs that support Elara's strategic vision and business objectives and priorities.
- Aligns program objectives and initiatives with the portfolio strategy accounting for any cross-program dependencies.
- Establishes a planning process to align business needs with the annual budget.
- Develops and manages relationships with senior business leaders.
- Remains a trusted technology advisor and solution broker for business partners within the assigned vertical.
- Ensures the execution of the program is carried out timely and within budget.
- Establishes consistent communication with stakeholders to understand expectations and business strategy as well as to communicate the status of the program and related projects.
- Provides program-level updates and summaries to executive leadership.
- Coordinates with Procurement to develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services and align budget accordingly.
- Manages relationships between vendors, who will deliver capabilities, resources, and technology, and the program managers who will be overseeing the quality of work.
- Partners with application development personnel to align business needs with the technology road map, customer expectations and to develop execution plans.
- Assists IT Demand management in identifying the need for project requests and assisting businesses in articulating business value.
- Establishes a standard PPM toolkit, standardizing the reporting package and processes, and driving program delivery discipline across the technology organization.
- 20-30% travel
You will report to the Vice President of IT PMO.
