This position is for a Program Manager in the IT Program and Portfolio Management Office, leading the International Subscription Management Program (SMP). Motorola Solutions is evolving into a recurring revenue, subscription-based company. Implementing an enterprise-level scalable platform to enable subscription-based offers and automated revenue recognition capabilities is a top MSI priority. This SMP Program is the 4th phase of this effort, focused on bringing the functionality to our international regions. This high visibility role is an ideal opportunity for someone with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations
Collaborate with IT leadership, business representatives, and IT project leads to define feature content for SMP
Lead the transformation of the program from hybrid/waterfall to Agile
Drive sprint planning & sequencing, along with the decomposition from strategy to feature to user story.
Partner with the Scrum Master to drive completion of sprint-level activities, identifying and removing roadblocks and negotiating dependencies across teams.
Partner with the Change Manager to define and implement a change management strategy for the program.
Partner with the Test Lead to ensure robust test planning (including cutover plan) and execution.
Work with vendors and partners to ensure proper planning and execution of activities. Review SOWs to ensure clear roles and responsibilities.
Responsible for all project communication, action item management, risk identification and management.
Responsible for keeping the project data updated on a regular basis as well as providing input as needed for senior leadership review
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills
Project management skills – ability to drive & lead meetings independently, create and execute project plans, proactively manage risks/issues, maintain compliance with company project management processes
People skills - a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts
Communication skills - ability to drive productive conversations, independently maintain project documentation, drive follow-up on open actions.
Analytical skills - ability to perceive and analyze problems, develop alternatives and recommend sound decisions
Experience in driving Agile Transformation
Any previous Motorola work experience or experience in managing IT projects for a similar industry is preferable
Self motivated and able to work independently
Very strong team player, able to foster teamwork and a positive working environment to the project team.Â
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment
Proficient in basic Google Applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides) as well as Atlassian application (Jira and Confluence)
PMP certification and/or other project management certification is preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to form valuable partnerships and working relationships with key stakeholders.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years experience with project management practices and methodologies.Â
Agile Scrum, SAFe, and/or DevOps experience required.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
