Job Description
The IT Project Coordinator role will be responsible for assisting the chief of staff, technology leaders & project managers in organizing our ongoing projects and involving monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. This position must be an organized, detail-oriented and member-focused individual to administer and coordinate activities for the technology organization.
- Working with leadership to define and implement project strategy and operational plans including timeline and budget development, partner agency selection, program site selection, site build-out, and overall activation
- Monitor project progress, and coordinate project resources and activities for all project team resources from initiation to completion, while maintaining high client satisfaction. Prepare and deliver project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, presentations and travel arrangements.
- Provide administrative support as needed such as managing schedules for senior leadership
- Compose independent correspondence, prepare reports upon request or at own initiative, and conduct special projects as directed. May give work direction to others.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, project/program management, or related field
Some experience with project management or administration
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or project/program management
2 years of experience with project management or administration
PM certification
Knowledge of project management discipline, methodology, and tools
Ability to manage projects as large as 500 hours
Managed project portfolio represents up to $1M in revenue at any given time
Ability to build effective and productive relationships with both clients and internal resources
Illustrate composure and ability to handle pressure and deadlines
Manage (with leadership support) technical resources to accomplish project goals and objectives with efficiency and high client satisfaction
Ability to manage changing, competing, and conflicting priorities; multitask effectively, while balancing urgency, speed, accuracy, and consistency
Thoughtfully consider the proper level of supporting internal/management engagement necessary for the escalation of issues that ensures the most timely and satisfactory resolution of issues
