IT Project Engineer

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a IT Project Engineer for our on our OpCos, Beringer Technology. The IT Project Engineer is responsible for managing and delivering IT projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality. You will work closely with the Project CoordinatorManager as well as other team members to ensure that projects are delivered according to the agreed scope and timeline.

Your work as an IT Project Engineer will include several components:

• Deliver excellent client- focused communication

• Provide project-based consulting on business and technical matters.

• Desire to constantly learn new technologies.

• Identify & gain proficiency in new technical solutions required for current or future needs.

• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

• Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.

• Complete documentation of all implemented solutions and any developed best practices created during implementations or education tasks.

• Assist CSMAM with all sales requests, including but not limited to, quoting, scoping.

• Design, develop and implement innovative solutions to meet client technical requirements.

• Client PC buildsconfigurations including creation of CW Manage Portal configuration templates.

• Meet weekly KPIs for utilization as well as accurate & timely time entries.

Our ideal IT Project Engineer has the following qualifications:

• Advanced Knowledge & understanding of Windows 7-11, & Server 2012-2022 OSs.

• Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin portal (Azure, Entra, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

• Advanced networking knowledge including firewalls, switching and wireless networking.

• Advanced Server Hardware knowledge including scoping, building and implementation.

• Ability to create accurate Statements of work including time needed to complete projects.

• Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in IT support or 3+ years’ experience in IT Implementation

• Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing Windows 7-11, & Server 2012-2022 OSs.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing solutions in Microsoft 365 Admin portal.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing Firewalls, Networks, VLANs, Routing Support, VPN Connectivity

• Minimum 3 years’ experience - Server Hardware Technologies (CPU/RAID/SCSI)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience - Data Backup and Recovery Support, Corporate Antivirus
