Due to growth we are currently seeking to add a Project Engineer to our exceptional team. With the rapidly increasing need for clients to have strong IT solutions, this position will serve as one of the main project technicians for our clients. In this role you will serve from start to finish on all project deliverables for our clients' projects spanning various IT disciplines. You will need to be customer-service focused, well organized, extremely detail-oriented and have experience implementing various projects from networking, server to cloud.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships - This is what Charles IT is all about!
• Serve as a one of the main project technicians for our open projects.

• Execute on project milestones set forth by the project coordinator.
• Provide technical updates on project status.
• 75% project-based work and 25% service based position for top tier escalations.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects according to clients' business needs and objectives
• Maintain customer documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the IT field
• 4+ Years of experience in the IT field required
• Current MCSA/VCP/CCNA certification a strong plus

• Proven work experience as a project engineer in an IT setting preferred
• Superior customer service skills
• Proven ability to juggle multiple technical project deliverables, ability to multi-task and function independently
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and work with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
• Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of a growing company and client base

• Excellent follow-through to see tasks through completion
• Self-starter with the ability to perform independently with little or no supervision
• High level of organization; sharp attention to detail
• Ability to pass a background check
• Current, valid US driver's license is required.
