What You Will Do:

Network/IT knowledge (Primary)

• Understand advanced network topologies and typical enterprise implementations within a campus environment
• Have an advanced understanding of Software Defined Networking and, in particular, Cisco SD-WAN, SD-Access, and ACI fabric components and implementation
• Have an advanced understanding of IT infrastructure including indoor/outdoor cabling and pathway standards and standard IT industry best practices for power and cooling
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of wireless networking standards and implementations, access control systems, VOIP systems, camera systems, and other forms of converged technology.
• Be able to articulate and communicate network requirements to technical and non-technical audiences
• Work as part of a team to validate network design and verify customer requirements

Project management skills (Secondary)

• Have proven experience organizing and executing work efficiently
• Communicate and coordinate with a wide variety of project teams that are passionate about different aspects of network infrastructure and keep them on task to meet deadlines.
• Develop end-to-end project implementation schedules and keep on budget for each project; multiple across the Redstone Arsenal (RSA).
• Balance prioritization, timelines, and potential risk factors that may impact project success
• Have the ability to produce PowerPoint slides, white papers, emails, and other forms of communication needed to effectively manage a project

What You Will Need:

• Ability to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET federal security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
• FIVE (5) or more years of relevant experience

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Project management Institute (PMI) - Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Cisco Certifications (Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE))
