This role will sit within the Technology organization and report to the Head of IT Business Operations. The primary responsibility is to act as a project manager for various technology projects focused on trading infrastructure, colocation, connectivity, cloud, and other areas as needed.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings and provide oversight throughout the project lifecycle; obtain weekly updates to understand project status, dependencies, next steps, and blockers through project reporting
• Track meeting minutes, outcomes, and next steps, and generally document conversations and decisions
• Coordinate cloud strategy implementation by working with various stakeholders to assess and analyze cloud usage and looking for cost optimization opportunities
• Build cross-functional team cohesiveness by liaising with multiple stakeholders in Finance, Procurement, Legal, Technology, and Senior Management:
• Help to bridge gaps of communication between various groups to create efficiencies and help the decision-making process for assigned projects
• Assist with technology budgeting processes and tracking actuals against budget
• Examine inventory levels and consumption metrics to help forecast demand for items such as servers and other critical infrastructure items to ensure stock is on hand for major projects
• Conduct operational analysis to identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce cost, and/or do things differently to achieve the same or better outcomes
• Create presentations that aggregate data and findings to make recommendations to various stakeholders
• Assist with developing operational and financial reporting that brings together utilization and cost into one place for various areas, including hardware, connectivity, and inter-cabinet cross-connects, colocation power & space, and cloud
• Partner and participate in vendor management discussions to help address risks, drive business and technology discussion, define requirements, understand challenges, and communicate with internal stakeholders accordingly

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-7 years of technology and/or operations experience, preferably within financial markets
• Ability to aggregate and analyze data to make recommendations for improvements, experience with financial reporting
• Highly organized and experienced with tracking project timelines and milestones
• Ability to schedule and lead meetings with various stakeholders
• Desired experience working with cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience identifying and implementing operational efficiencies
