Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Utilize the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Facilitate Scrum events, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, fostering effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
• Organize and facilitate Scrum of Scrums (SoS) meetings to ensure alignment and coordination between multiple Agile teams working on interdependent projects or features.
• Create and maintain project plans, sprint backlogs, and other project management artifacts, using tools like JIRA or similar Agile project management platforms.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define project scope, requirements, and priorities.
• Provide regular project status updates, reporting on key metrics, progress, and potential roadblocks to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance Agile processes, tools, and best practices.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, ensuring a consistent understanding and application of Agile principles.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Education and requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification is required.
• Minimum Seven (7) years of related experience.
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, with hands-on experience facilitating Scrum events and SoS meetings.
• Proficiency in using Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Experience with Scaled Agile methodologies and frameworks, such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus, is highly desirable.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus.
• Adept at managing multiple projects concurrently and adapting to changing priorities.
• Proven track record of delivering IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Minimum Eligibility:

• Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
