Horace Mann is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join it's growing team!  This position will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring small and medium sized projects and requires previous experience with IT projects.Â
**This position is hybrid out of our Addison, TX or Madison, WI office**
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple small or medium size projects simultaneously
- Develop and monitor the project plan, schedule, and budget
- Define and clarify project scope
- Ability to support multiple agile teams and coordinate across teams
- Ability to work with multiple departments to build team and set team direction
- Identify, document and escalate issues, risks and dependencies
- Assist with stakeholder, steering committee and project sponsor reports and communications
- Communicate to project sponsors and management.Â
Requirements
- Experience with Agile teams
- 2+ years of project management experience
- IT Project Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, formal project management education is a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Project Management certification and/or Agile certification is a plus
