IT Project Manager

Responsibilities:• Manages project scope and approach, focusing on project delivery and technical integration.• Drives IT Strategy and planning changes at the executive levels.• Oversees of key information technology enablers.• Manages project resources.• Monitors and assesses the quality, accuracy, and timeliness requirements compliance of services and systems requirements.• Monitors, assesses, and reports to customer on project performance.• Monitors project planning, budgeting, staffing, resource acquisition/allocation, expenditures, invoicing, security processes, reporting, and other relevant processes and activities.• Examines project timelines, proposed budgets, expenditures, staffing, product quality, product delivery, and other project-related activities of the contractor for compliance with contractual requirements.• Identifies strengths and weaknesses of platforms to identify best fit for a given technical requirement and related associated costs.• Provides solutions, mentors, and guides project teams in development of modern business methods/utilities, identification of best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:• Ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritize workload based on direction from Government CORs.• Proven customer service skills including the ability to focus on building customer relationships and responding to customer needs. Strong coaching and feedback skills.• Ability to instill sense of urgency and be able to motivate the same sense of urgency in those under his/her leadership.• Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing project review support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy supporting the federal workspace.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.• Strong ability to facilitate deeper technical sessions while clearly articulating highly technical discussions to non-technical stakeholders.• Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a continuous process improvement culture• Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to understand and effectively communicate technical concepts in a compelling, persuasive manner to non-technical persons.• Capable of working under tight deadlines and on several projects simultaneously.• Excellent time and resource management skills.• Ability to work independently and function effectively as a member of a team and adhere to strict deadlines.• Ability to understand and communicate technical/business solutions to personnel at all levels of the organization.• Must be able to demonstrate extremely strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and work ethic• Ability to work odd hours outside of standard schedule occasionally, e.g., weekends or after normal work hours.

Position Requirements:• Must be a U.S. Citizen• Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or Computer Science• 5+ years' experience working in support of project management services with specific focus on supporting government contracts delivering Risk Management Framework (RMF) services• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified A
