IT Project Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a project manager with strong technical hands – experience with specialisms in managing complex projects in Telecoms, infrastructure services focusing on refreshes.

Strong in leading diverse projects and managing cross – functional team. Skilled in both understanding Banking/ Asset Management and Project Management to facilitate an innovative advantage to completing the project lifecycle.

• Managing infrastructure projects over 5 million dollars in the APAC region from initiation through closing.
• Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress using customer-provided tools.
• Manage all project resources and establish an effective communication plan with the project team and client.
• Manage product installation, resolve complex technical issues, and accurately communicate ethical issues/solutions between the customer and business.
• Work with teams to manage procurement logistics, project management, staging and rack and stack of devices, weekend implementations, UAT signoffs, decommissioning, disposals, change management, and risk management.
• Evaluate and maintain costs and budget requirements and manage risks, project scope, resources, and schedule changes.
• Measure post-implementation results, budgets, and costs and determine internal and external customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• At least 4 years experience in project management in Network/ Infrastructure refresh/ Asset Management projects, using methods such as PMI, Prince
• Experience with recognized methodologies and frameworks (e.g., waterfall, agile, lean) based on project fit.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality digital products and services on time, to specification, and within budget.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Teams, and Webex (an advantage).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including technical writing.
• Working with regional countries and time zones
• Flexibility to work on most weekends and Monday morning standby calls

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prince2 or PMP certified
• ITIL Certifications
• Experience in communicating with end-users, technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, articulate features, technical designs, and strategy to name a few
