IT Project Manager

The Purpose of Your Role

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join our Change Management team. This position will participate in and oversee the planning, tracking, communication, and implementation of concurrent projects which have specified deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

Initial training will be conducted onsite and will transition to a hybrid position. For this reason, candidates should be local to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.

You would play a key role in continuous operational improvement and strategic success of Apex. Project Managers drive a positive project culture by setting each project up for success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee and manage software development project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects in scope, on time and on budget.
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, sponsors and software engineer teams to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and fulfillment of business needs.
• Serve as escalation point for roadblocks for all team members.
• Manage and communicate status updates, issues and resolutions to stakeholders, project sponsors, managers and senior management.
• Sets, communicates and enforce deadlines in planning and delivery of all projects.
• Lead project meetings including, project kick-off, stand ups, retrospective, handover plans, etc.
• Anticipate mitigate and manage project risks.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of IT project management experience
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience will be considered.

Preferred Experience

• PMP Certification
• Experience in project management software such as Monday.com, Project Online and Confluence.
