IT Project Manager

Job Description

The Technology department is looking for a Project Manager to support the Program Management Team. In this role, you will assist Program Managers with running various sized technical projects, assist in day-to-day activities needed to support the team and department, and manage other tasks as directed by your leader. You will work closely with people throughout the organization to create project plans, ensure project objectives align with strategic and operational goals and ensure they are achieved within the established timeframes.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in software project management, work under tight deadlines, and can manage simultaneous tasks and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure that all parties are on track with launch requirements, deadlines, and schedules
• Communicate project information to stakeholders, design templates, create presentations, review and edit project deliverables, and maintain the project information repository
• Help resolve project conflicts, identify resource requirements, and align the project team on project scope.
• Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
• Observe existing project management practices and propose improvements for process efficiency
• Conduct project post-mortem to evaluate and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred, but not required
• A clear understanding of the Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and excellent problem-solver
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA preferred
