This Project Manager position earns top-of-industry pay of $95,000 - $125,000/year, depending on experience, technical knowledge, and industry certifications. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
As a Project Manager, you play an essential role in maintaining the respect we have earned within the industry. Since people are our product, you are expected to power our future growth. You are the lifeblood of the organization from project planning and coordination to responding to customer needs, the Project Manager is a leader within the organization. With an exceptional focus on our customer's needs, you are the first point of contact for Project related items. You save the day for them with your clear, level-headed, and friendly support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Technology Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of multiple IT infrastructure projects
- Know the importance of follow-ups with resources to ensure things get done daily/weekly/monthly
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Manage change requests and change orders to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques-MS Project, for example
- Report issues and delays to management appropriately based on severity
- Manage the relationship with vendors, staff, and relevant stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for the project when appropriate
- Meet with department heads, implementers, and vendors to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Delegate project tasks based on junior team members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other Acture team members
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification along with 6 years of relevant technology project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time onsite position typically works Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
